Flight of Fancy

While on a flying visit to the UK I stopped off at a local forest/park area to take a few snaps. Pictures of birds in flight always interested me, even if I’m not a bird watcher.

We put some seed on a feeder table and watched the birds come and go. I was shooting with my D5100 and new 35mm Prime, sooting at high (ish) iso in order to use a very fast shutter speed.

All shots taken at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire UK

So here are some of the birds performing various landing approaches on the feeder board.
