After Fielding Memorial Park we went a short distance into town and walked the very short route around Robinson Lake, I say around though it is more go to one end and turn around. The route is over mainly marsh cut through by a couple of streams. The walk starts by moving over a field and then down to the level of the water, and across a wooden bridge/walkway that cuts over the top of the marsh. I had been here in the summer with my Yashica, though can’t remember if i posted the pictures up (investigation time).

During the walk, parts of the streams where frozen and covered with crystallized water. Passing onto the the wooden bridge was this twig protruding through the frost, itself covered in pretty crystals. So here it is for your enjoyment.
