Time – Kingston

One of the many photographs of the Time sculpture by Russian-born artist Kosso Eloul. Iv always thought it looks great, though getting the lighting right in a photograph is a little tricky given that it is made from shiny aluminium. Often it looks so bright it is a distraction, other times it is in shade so dark it gives most of the frame a dull feel.

This is probably the best picture iv managed to snap of it, and the reason I am sharing it here.

I tried out an old circular polarizer which I had been included with an old camera, this seemed to really help take the haze out of the sky and give the photograph a less washed out feeling, though appears to have given the sculpture slight haloes
